blizzards, hockey games, boredom, good-bye parties, leathers and a motorcycle ride.

Wow... what a week. Where has the time gone? I don't know what has actually taken up all my time this part week, but somehow it has slipped away from me.

I hope that you took advantage of the 25 cent blizzards this past week. I did. Twice.

As long as the Canucks are still playing, I am still watching hockey. Well, maybe "watching" is a better description of what I am actually doing. Because it seems that I old really am paying attention when I hear cheering. haha.

At work this week, I noticed how much the music that is playing has an effect on me. On friday I noticed halfway through that I was running a little behind. I think it was really only a minute or two but the music was so dramatic and ominous sounding that I found myself kinda rushing through the massage. When I realized what I was doing... I just laughed and carried on at a normal pace. During another treatment "the entertainer" came on and I was brought back to being 8 years old, living on Thetis Island. I had learned how to play "the entertainer" on the piano and my sister got so sick of me playing it that she stole my music book. But I was much more clever than she thought! I had it memorized! muah ha ha ha! On Saturday... during a couples massage, Amanda and I were so bored and tired... that to help pass the time... we were dancing to the music while massaging. hahaha. Oh man... probably should be doing that, but sometimes you just gotta!

Yesterday we had a good-bye party for my little (but really not so little anymore) brother. I can't believe he is going to be gone for three whole months. The lucky bum is going to Europe. Dad made Rollkuchen and water mellon and ribs. Yum yum YUM!!! I love my parents cooking. So good. Those of you who have been to my house for any meal (or even just a snack) can testify to their awesome kitchen skills. Tomorrow I have to say good-bye to my little brother... it'll be sad. But he is going to have a fabulous time. I have no doubts about that.

And today I got all decked out in leathers. I am totally not cool enough to pull it off though. There I was in leather jacket, leather pants and cowboy boots. haha. All that was left for me to do was put on a helmut and gloves (leather of course) and hop on the back of my brothers motorcycle and go for a ride. Oh so much fun. My brother is super cool. awesomely cool. And also the sweetest kid you have ever met.

This evening my 'brother' is coming for supper! I can't wait. I haven't seen him in over a year. So I am going to sign out and help make supper. See ya later.
