porch swings and tea

So sometimes I don't write for a week... and then I write two days in a row. Some things are just too good... they have to be written about.

This evening (well I guess its night now... but it still feels like the evening) I am sitting on the front porch of my new "home". I feel like I am in a scene from an old movie. Here I am at a beautiful big white country style house... that is complete with blue trim, and wrap around front porch with a swing. I am sitting on the swing.... cuddled in a comfy grey wool sweater and quilt... drinking tea sweetened with 'home grown' honey and listening to great music. Everything feels good an peaceful. It doesn't matter what happened earlier today, it doesn't matter what will happen tomorrow. Life is GOOD!

Yesterday was a lonely day, but today isn't. I feel oddly secure and content as I sit out here all alone. Its one of those moments you wish would just last forever... for no particular reason.

God is good.
